Fact sheet on the Powerbase Jr. External Laptop Battery:

The Powerbase Jr can power selected laptops (see list below) without the use of a DC adapter adapter. If your laptop is listed below the Powerbase Jr will provide power to your laptop though the use of a simple jumper cable (slimllar to the PowerPlus 60 listed above). The Powerbase Jr. has a capacity of 4.5 AH (54 Watt Hours), allowing you to keep your laptop running an extra 3 hours without recharging.

If you are interested in the Powerbase Jr. (54 Watt) model and you have either an Fujitsu, IBM, Toshiba, Geobook, or any other laptop that accepts 12V or 15V input voltages through the DC adapter plug, then you can use an inexpensive "jumper cable". These cables that are are far less bulky, and less expensive than a DC adapter. I have developed a "Reference Chart" at the bottom of the page that will list the laptops that can use a jumper cable. If your laptop is not listed but accepts 12v or 15v of DC input then the Universal jumper cable should work for you...Email me and I will check to make sure your laptop will work with a jumper cable.
