I offer four different chargers for your radio batteries. They are the MasterCharger Ia (Quick Charger), and the MasterCharger IIa (standard base charger), MasterCharger VIa, plus Universal Chargers UC-1-Standard, UC-1Extended, and UC-6.
All MasterChargers are capable of charging nicads as well as nickel-metal hydride batteries (NIMH) battery packs. MasterChargers use cups that will match your battery's positive and negative terminals. You do not have to remove your battery from the radio to charge it, the radio can be placed within the charger in an upright postion (see picture below).
Cups can be interchanged between MasterCharger Ia and IIa. With a purchase of any MasterCharger you will receive one cup free, should you desire additional cups the cost $20.00. Should you have an analyzer unit, cup prices will range from $25 to$35. You can also purchase a Car Adapter for our rapid charger unites. This will allow you to rapid-charge your batteries off your car's cigarette lighter, unit price $10.00.
MasterCharger IIa can charge any nicad or NiMH battery from
4.8V to 13.2 V. It will charge a battery in 8-14 hours. It utilizes
a regulated constant current charging circuit. 115VAC adaptor
included. Unit Price $39.95
MasterCharger Ia will charge nicads and NIMH's from 4.8V to 13.2V
from 1/2 hour to 2 3/4 hours. This charger can also detect when
a battery is fully charged, utilizing a negative delta (v) and
delta (T)/delta(t) detection technique. The Charger (which will
accommodate one battery) is priced at $69.95.
MasterCharger VIa can charge up to six different batteries simultaneously with different voltages and capaicities, and they can be either nicad and NiMH type batteries. You can also select which batteries you want to charge:Motorola,Yaesu, Kenwood, Standard, Maxon, Kyodo, Reim ect...
Universal Chargers: UC-1-Standard will quick charger (1/2 to 2 3/4 hours) nicad, NiMH, and Lithium-ion batteries. The UC-1-Standard will charge batteries with voltages between 3.6 and9.6 volts if they are NiCD, or NIMH's, however ithium-ion batteries can only be charge if they are between 3.6 volt to 7.4 volt . If you need to charge a lithium-ion battery that has greater voltages then you need to use the UC-1-Extended. The UC-1-Extended can charge all NiMH, nicad the UC-1-Extended can charge NiCD & NIMH batteries up to 14.4 Volts & Li-Ion bateries up to to 14.8 Volts. The UC-6 performs just like the UC-1-Extended. All Universal chargers (UC-1 and UC-6) can be purchased with 115V or 220V AC adapters.

Analyzers I (1 battery capable), III (3 battery capable), and VI (6 battery capable) only differ in the number of batteries that can be anaylzed and charged at the same time. All Analyzers come with a universal power source (90 VAC to 240 AC input).
The independent Charge and Discharge rates allow the batteries to be properly analyzed and conditioned effectively, unlike other Analyzers that can only address a very limited number of batteries effectively, due to having only one charge and one discharge rate.
All Analyzer units are operated by a single button, that will initiate all modes of operation. The units are totally user friendly. Click on the link to view pictures of both the Battery Chargers, Analyzers, and the optional Equipment.

Method of end of charge detection:
Neg. Delta (V). Time, dt/dT and Temperature can be used in conjunction
with each other to insure proper charge termination.

Optional Equipment:
High Current Sink Adapter (HCSA). This adaptor allows one
to select "DISCHARGE" currents greater than 1,000 mA.
There are six additional discharge currents available to you,
simply by rotating the switch on the (HCSA):1,500, 2,000, 2,500,
3,000, 3,500 and 4,000 mA.
Universal Adapter:
This is truly a universal adaptor. All one has to do is connect
the "UNIVERSAL ADAPTOR" as though it was a typical battery
cup. There are three rotary switches and a molex connector mounted
on it.
Rotary SW-l: Sets the NUMBER OF CELLS that make up the battery: from 3 to 12 cells.
Rotary SW-2: Sets the CHARGE CURRENT: 300, 600, 700, or 1,000 mA.
Rotary SW-3: Sets the DISCHARGE CURRENT: 200, 300, 400, 500, 700, 800, 900 or 1,000 mA.
A molex connector that allows you to customize a cable to the particular battery in question. The connector also provides for THERMAL DETECTION should the battery have a thermistor.
Computer Serieal Port - RS232:
Serial Port and software allows easy access and control from your
personal computer.
