If you have a laptop battery that is either a Nicad, NiMH, or Lithium-ion type and it is not working, we can usually rebuild it, and make it work like new again. When we rebuild a battery we remove your old battery cells from your battery case and replace them with new cells and you receive a 1 year warranty on the new cells we added to your battery. The typically turn around time is 5 business days from the day we receive your battery.

There are two situations in which we will not be able to rebuild your battery: First, If we carry the battery new. Second if your battery has a bad circuit board.

If we have a new battery that is a match for your laptop we will let you know the details by email. If the cost difference isn't too great it is far better to buy a new battery rather than trying to rebuilding your existing battery. Over 30% of all the batteries we receive have a bad circuit board and cannot be rebuilt, plus even if we rebuild your battery you will still have an old circuit board that could go out at anytime. However, for those who cannot find a new battery or the price of a new battery is outrageously expensive rebuilding your old battery may be the best alternative.

If we cannot rebuild you battery and you would like your battery returned, we need to charge you for the cost of return shipping ($7.00 domestic, $10.00 Alaska or Hawaii, $40.00 Canada, and $70.00 for all other international returns). There is no return shipping cost if we can rebuild you battery.

The cost of rebuilding an existing NiMH or Nicad laptop battery is $129.95, while a lithium-ion battery costs $159.95 to rebuilds. I provide rebuilds as a added service to my customers, but it is a very labor intensive process with very little profit. I therefore cannot accept any laptop battery discount vouchers for Rebuilds.

Finally, we can only replace your laptop battery cells with cells that have the same chemistry (eg. We cannot put Lithium-ion cells in a battery that orginally held NiMH or Nicad cells).

After you have completed reading this page, and if you desire to have us rebuild your NiMH battery, return to this point and click on the (NIMH Rebuild) link, Should your laptop battery be a Nicad then you will need to click on the(Nicad Rebuild)link, but if the battery you need rebuilt is a lithium-ion type you will need to click on this (Lithium-ion rebuild) link. It is important that you click on the correct link, the first is for NiMH's batteries, and second for Nicads, and the third is only to order the rebuilding of a Lithium-ion battery. When you click on either link you will be sent to a page that begins our online credit card authorization process.

All batteries that we carry are not listed on the web. Therefore to help use determine if we do carry you battery new, please fill in as many answers as possible from the following list. Please cut and past these questions and answers into the comment window. With this information we should be able to determine if we have a compatible new battery for your laptop. We will also be able to direct you to the proper rebuilding dept. for your battery.

When you click to approve the online transaction your credit card will only be authorized for this order, your credit card will not be charged at this time. Authorization of your credit card simply verifies that you have provided a valid credit card #, that there is an adaquite credit line available to pay for the service, and for security reasons, it checks to confirm that you have provided the correct credit card "Bill to" address. If you provided a valid email address when you place your order you will receive a confirming email detailing this transaction.

Within 24 hours you will receive a second email from www.sarrio.com. In this email you will be informed, if we carry new battery that is compatible with your laptop. Should we carry a compatible new battery we will not be able to rebuild your battery, but we will offer you the option of buying the battery new. If we do not have a compatible new battery, your will be provided with the address of our battery rebuilding facility, and a brief form for you to fill and include with your battery. This form will provide our rebuilding dept. with the infomation they need to provide for the quick return of your battery.

If you are a government agency or corporation we will accept purchase orders, however, the PO must be place on the official letter head of the agency placing the order. The purchase order must also include a phone # to the purchasing/accounts receivable department, and the name of the person responsible for placing the order must also be provided. All purchase orders are accepted on a Net 30 day bases. After I receive your money order or purchase order I will either email, phone, or fax to you a short form that will ask you to fill out and return with your battery. This form will include the address of our rebuild facility, and an invoice #. All inquiries concering your order will be referenced from this invoice #.

You will be asked to ship your battery to the address provided in the second email. Include with your battery a completed copy of the form provided in our second email message. I recommend that you insure this shipment, and use a shipper capable of verifing the delivery of your package. The following shippers, UPS, Fedex, and the US postal system all have the ability to provide this service. The least expensive shipment option is US Priority Mail. US Priority Mail provides delivery verification for only 35¢ and for an additional $2.00 you can purchase $100.00 of insurance.

Do not send your battery to our main office in Alta Loma California. This will significantly delay the processes of getting your battery rebuilt.

Once we receive your battery we will complete the billing of your credit card (e.g. capture of funds) for our service.

Domestic orders will be shipped at "no charge" via UPS or Fedex ground from our FOND DU LAC, WI. Rebuild Center. This should reach any location in the Continental U.S.A within 3 buinsess days. There is a $20.00 charge on all orders shipped to Alaska or Hawaii. These order are shipped via 2 Day Airborne Express. International orders shipped to Canada have a $40.00 shipping fee, and all those shipped international orders require a $70.00 shipping fee.
